Hello, everyone. My name is Alix. I’m a PhD student at Maastricht University and I’m working on the PULSE project.

I’m actually differentiating stem cells into cardiac cells. So I’m making some organoids and cardiomyocytes that are beating in the dish. So it’s pretty cool. And we are going to assemble these cells using the PULSE device into a bigger cardiac tissue construct.

I’m actually a biomedical scientist, and I really love the possibility that the hiPSC have, so this project was perfect for that.
